Natural Product Discovery

We are also interested in identifying natural products and their biological evaluation as pharmaceutical drugs. Our group is actively collaborating with the laboratory of Prof. Lourival D. Possani, National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and Prof. Richard N. Zare, Stanford University, USA for identifying the molecular species that exists in the scorpion venom and exploring their function in therapies (if any).
